    Abstract
FALSE: "Around 96 percent of the Rs.10,000 million ‘loss’ highlighted by the Forensic Audit Report into Bond transactions from the period 2005-2015 actually went to several government institutions which benefitted immensely. Bank of Ceylon (BOC), Peoples’ Bank, National Savings Bank (NSB) and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) were the government institutions that benefitted." - Kanchana Wijesekera, Daily News, 30 January 2020
