A background note on ethno-religious violence in Sri Lanka
Abstract
An overview of ethno-religious violence in Sri Lanka. The report examined recent developments on ethno-religious relations in Sri Lanka, mapped out the victims and actors of episodes of ethno-religious violence, the drivers of ethno-religious violence, the resilience factors that could potentially mitigate ethno-religious violence and evaluated available information and the lack thereof in comprehensively understanding ethno-religious violence.
