Abstract

In the month of May 2022, JVP held a press conference revealing corrupt deals, fraud and mismanagement of the government. Though a news of national significance, only Lankadeepa, Divaina and Ada gave it the due prominence by reporting the press conference as the lead news on front page. Mawbima and Aruna reported on it on the front page, though not as the lead news. Dinamina did not feature the news.
