Abstract
In the month of March 2018, several articles published in Sunday Divaina, Ravaya, Rivira, and Sunday Mawbima contained ethical violations pertaining to gender discrimination; only highlighting women when both women and men have been arrested over an offence, stereotyping women and assigning more blame to women. This entry also includes a comparative data analysis of the Sinhala newspaper reportage on women discrimination in 2017.
