Open Budget Survey 2021 in Context: South Asia

Abstract

In an effort to make the Open Budget Survey (OBS) better reflect the views of their civil society partners and respond to requests by stakeholders, including development partners, IBP commissioned a set of regional briefs, authored by a selection of Open Budget Survey 2021 Partners, that aimed to complement the more general global findings and the more specific country summaries for the OBS 2021. This entry comprises the brief for South Asia, authored by Verite Research, covering Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. IBP aims to publish this in concurrence with the launch of the OBS 2021 in May 2022.
