Incidents of Violence - Parliamentary report cards: Uddika Premarathne and Selvarajah Kajendran

Abstract

This infographic was created as a response to the two attacks against AITC MP Selvarajah Kajendran and SLPP MP Uddika Premarathne. This infographic shows the contribution of both MPs in 9th parliament. It is based on analysis of Hansard data from August 2020 to July 2023. This includes overall ranks, district ranks, attendance in parliament sittings, total number of productive interventions they made in 9th parliament. These two MPs have contributed most to discuss about Rights and Representation, Economy and Finance, Urban Planning, infrastructure and Transportation, National Heritage, Media and Sports, Justice, Defense and Public Order.
